Law Degree, Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon.
Attendance of the 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Lisbon – Instituto Superior Técnico.

Lecturer of « Corporate Governance and Law » in the Corporate Governance Post-Graduate Course and of « Real Estate Law » in the Management and Real Estate Evaluation Post-Graduate Course, being currently lecturer of « Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer » in the Foresight, Strategy and Innovation Post-Graduate Course, all at ISEG – Lisboa School of Economics and Management / ISEG – Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão. Professional experience (VdA)
Fernando returned to VdA in 2001. Currently he is one of the partners in charge of the TMT – Telecommunications, Media & Technology practice. In such capacity he has been involved in several transactions, in Portugal and abroad, mainly focused on information technologies, electronic communications, outsourcing, cloud computing, emerging technologies, intellectual property, advertising and media issues namely outsourcing transactions (ITO and BPO) in the banking sector.
He has also been developing his activity in the fields of Intellectual Property, Corporate and Commercial Law.

Other professional background
Began his career in Vieira de Almeida – Lawyers, and afterwards became partner in the law firm Perry da Câmara & Resina da Silva and in the law firm PMBGR – Pena, Machete, Botelho Moniz, Nobre Guedes, Ruiz & Associados.

He is author of several articles published in national and international specialized publications. He has participated as speaker in several conferences and seminars related to his area of practice.
